Artisan Furniture & Finds wants everyone to be able to browse our pieces, find our stores and reach our team, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test our pages with automated accessibility tools when we change them, and we fix what they find.
What we do
- Every photo has a text description.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, including the photo galleries.
- Text and buttons have strong color contrast.
- Pages work when text is enlarged or the screen is zoomed.
- Animations are turned off if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
- We only ask for your location if you tap “Which store is closer to me?”, and it never leaves your device.
